POWERFUL PRAY

Today’s Word: 2 Kings 20:1-11

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 21:1-19

Night: 1 Kings 8-9

Today’s Inspiration
Knowing that your prayer can change things and make the Lord gives His mercy. Hezekiah is a king who was loved by the Lord because he followed the Lord with all of his heart. However, in the end he had to return to the Lord, therefore the Lord first told His plan through the prophet Isaiah.

When King Hezekiah heard this word of God, Hezekiah wept and prayed earnestly. Hear how the king Hezekiah prayed in 2 Kings 20:3, “‘Remember, LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.’ And Hezekiah wept bitterly.”

God’s word tells us that we maintain a prayer life as a very important part, so that we can connect with the Spirit of God because the Spirit of God will not stay in each person by itself. He will only stay in the people who open the door and invite Him to come in and be the sovereign Lord of our lives.

When the Spirit of God dwells in us, then He will tell us things that He does and will lead us to always live in God’s protection. Even in His immeasurable love, He can change what He had planned for our lives into what we desire.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)

TODAY’S ACTION:

If you have not received what you prayed for, let be more diligently and earnestly to pray so that God will answer your prayers.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Your sincerity in prayer can change the impossible becomes possible.

STOP HAVING A HARD HEART

29 Apr

STOP HAVING A HARD HEART

Today’s Word: Hebrews 3:7-15

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 20:27-47

Night: 1 Kings 6-7

Today’s Inspiration
An experienced farmer will know whether the parcel of land will be fertile and produce, if it is plowed in advance. Plowing will use iron ploughshare pulled by a buffalo or now uses plow tractor. In the process of land will be turned back, unloaded and processed continuously in a specified period of time. Suppose that land can scream, maybe at that time it would scream loudly because of the pain that comes insistently and never stopped.

Once the period is completed, the land will be soft, large or small rocks are definitely eliminated and the land will be fertile, ready to be planted and give life to produce multiples growth.

The human heart is the source of life, when our hearts are hard then our hearts will die and all evils will come out of it, because there are no laws and statues of the Lord that we listen, contemplate inside the heart, let alone doing it. But if we have a heart that is soft and ready to be shaped, then we will be sensitive to all the laws and statues of the Lord who makes us living in holiness and pleasing to God.

With a heart that is ready to shape up then all that we do will bear fruit, successful and prosper.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.” (Proverb 28:14)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Hard-hearted will not to be useful to our lives, therefore learn to have a soft heart.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

If there are plowshares unpacking your heart, enjoy the process because soon your heart will come out of the fruit of the Spirit that gives a life of victory.

ARE YOU IN DOUBT?

28 Apr

ARE YOU IN DOUBT?

Today’s Word: Matthew 13:53-58

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 20:1-26

Night: 1 Kings 3-5

Today’s Inspiration
Have you ever asked God why your prayers that expecting a miracle have not happened or not happen at all?

Let us learn a heart attitude of the people who had lack of faith in the days of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 13:53-58. In those days people had seen the miracles and wonders that Jesus did, but they doubt in the Lordship of Jesus. It is because they knew and saw more to the humanity of Jesus as the son of a carpenter. Notice the result: although the Lord Jesus actually quite capable of making any miracles, in other words, that the miracle for Jesus was usual things, but because rejection of the Lordship of Jesus stated in a doubt had canceled miracles that was already available.

Today we find a direct correlation between believing attitudes wholeheartedly and actions with miracles. From the story above, we know that the most important role is a believing faith that miracles are real.

This law is eternal stamped with God’s love, so if we have the faith to believe in Christ as a Provider of miracles, then we will accept unconditional miracles. This law is like a situation that you have a lot amount of money in the bank and you are equipped with an ATM card. When you need money, you have to make step to insert your ATM card to get cash. You will never get the money if you do not do this step even if you know you have a lot of money.

Therefore, if you have not got a miracle that you asked for in long prayers, then try to see into your heart, is there any doubt that is doubting the Lord Jesus be able to perform miracles. The reason is because a little doubt can undo the miracle which should be part of the believers.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.” (Matthew 13:58)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Never doubt God’s miracles to be happened in your life.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Deposit the faith you believe in God’s presence, then you will receive what you write in your believing faith.

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD

26 Apr

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD

Today’s Word: Psalm 118

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 19:1-27

Night: 2 Samuel 23-24

Today’s Inspiration
David noted his mood in Psalm 118, by commanding his heart and soul to always give thanks for God is good, His love endures forever. The next verses in Psalm 118 stated the reasons why David used to give thanks. As a fighter, David’s life was always surrounded by many enemies, from within and from outside and the number of his enemies was huge even countless. Each of these enemies had plans to brought David down and attacked from all directions.

As a human being, of course, David was tired because sometimes he had to run from one cave to another cave. In these situations, David approached more deeply to God to remain clinging his life and safety in the protection of the Most High. In his prayer, God always hear his prayer and hasten to always lend a hand and with His right hand, God performed miraculous works to free him from the siege of his enemies.

Therefore, Psalm 118 noted his testimony as a king anointed by God that he enjoyed and experienced protection from the Lord, which is so evident in his life.

When you are experiencing problems which come siege insistently to attack, know that the God we worship is the same God and nothing has changed from the God who is worship by David. He is still full of mercy and has a very deep grace. Therefore, take action as David that he continued to be grateful for the kindness of God so that same God’s right hand will defend us by performing miraculous matters.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (Psalm 118:1)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Have you give thanks today?

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Say thanks to the Lord always.

HOPE OF THE FAITH

25 Apr

HOPE OF THE FAITH

Today’s Word: Psalm 55:17-20

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 18:24-43

Night: 2 Samuel 21-22

Today’s Inspiration
Examination period is a difficult time for anyone who is studying, because they will do extra study in a period that is longer than usual. In those days, they may become strained because of stress due to pressure from the lessons and pressure of other people so the mark will be good. But if there is any reward that is promised in each of the examination, they will have high spirits even higher resistance to the pressure.

Each trial will have a time and there can be no trials and problems that are eternal. As word of the Lord Psalm 55:22 says, “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Here lies the essential difference and a person’s perspective of a test or problem. If someone is waiting for a breakthrough, does not have a promise that can be hoped for, then this person will become hopeless. But if one is waiting for a breakthrough, has a promise which is put hope upon Him, then one has the strength to endure the process faithfully and power to become the doer of a breakthrough.

This is what was meant by the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:8, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair.” Apostle Paul understood whether the suffering that exists is not comparable to glory (promises) of God which will be revealed and fulfilled to the believers.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” (Psalm 55:22)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Hold on and wait patiently for God’s promises with enthusiasm and it will be your strength.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Do not loose against the problems in your life.

ARISE AND BECOME LIGHT

ARISE AND BECOME LIGHT

Today’s Word: Luke 15:11-22

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 18:1-23

Night: 2 Samuel 19-20

Today’s Inspiration
One day a child of 5 years-old screamed crying and calling his mother. Due to a very loud scream made people in his house run for the voice source which was coming from the bathroom. What was it? Ah, apparently it was a broken light bulb in the bathroom, so the dark bathroom made this little one frightened.

Indeed, the darkness can be scary every human being. How light is very important for humans. Light makes us can to have activity, design, to see clearly so it won’t be misguided. The story of the lost son is an example of people who are at the lowest point. Maybe we are currently in the low points of finances, health, family, job, career and so on.

Notice what is the prodigal son done?

Aware!! He is aware of the situation that desperately needs a hope; he realized that he needed the light. We need to be aware of our current situation.

Risen!! After he realizes, then he gets up to the light which can give hope to him, which is the Father’s heart.

Rise from darkness, rise from the past, get out of the deadly sins, rise from the old life. And come to the magic light, Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. When we come to the Light, receive Him in us and make Him the ruler over us, then our lives are led by the Light.

When we have received the Light that is Jesus, so make Jesus truly is God and Savior. Only Jesus can change our situations of our lives, from zero to hero.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Start to shine a bright light of Christ in the midst of this dark world situation. For that we are called, so that God’s name is glorified.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

You are the light of the world, have you lighten the world?
