BE PATIENT UPON GOD’S PROMISE

31 Mar

BE PATIENT UPON GOD’S PROMISE

Today’s Word: Hebrews 6:9-19

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 6:1-26

Night: Judges 11-12

Today’s Inspiration

At the time when Abraham was impatient to wait for the promise child, his faith in God’s promise began to loose and Abraham took an alternative path by helping God to fulfill His promise. He took Hagar as his wife and she gave birth to Ishmael and Abraham left the problem until this day.

However, in patience, Abraham’s faith was restored. Abraham believed in God and God took it into account as righteousness. He was made friends of God and received what is promised, which was the promise child of promise and other God’s blessings and through Abraham flowed through the blessing of descendants of Abraham to the nations.

Patience is the application of faith in our soul, in which by the faith to believe in God we no longer see the problem but trust in the promises of God. By faith, we will be patient at the time of the Lord, be faithful, not to grumble, unchanged faithful to receive the promises of God that we believe.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.” (Hebrews 6:12)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Upon God’s promise, you just have to believe by faith and patience in the soul.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

God’s timing is never too late; you will receive His promise on time.

TAKE A BREAK

30 Mar

TAKE A BREAK

Today’s Word: Matthew 11:28-30

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 5:17-39

Night: Judges 9-10

Today’s Inspiration

The perfect break is not determined by the amount of money we prepare to enjoy a break or it is also undetermined by the place where we rest, but it is determined more by the presence of peace and joy. You might probably at the most expensive resort in the world, but if your heart does not have peace and joy, then all will be in vain. Instead, you are in a simple hut in the middle of the forest but if you have the peace and joy of God, then you have the perfect break.

Therefore, the devil works hard to steal and rob the peace and joy of the Lord, spreading the virus of worry and fear so that human is kept away from the presence of God so that losing God’s peace and joy. Without it man can never have a perfect rest. The fact is without a real break, people will easily become tired body and soul, so the soul is dry and dead. Man on a situation like this will be easy to deny God, and then slowly but surely falls into the snare of devil’s perdition.

If today, you need a perfect break, there are two important things to do: 1. Receive God’s invitation, 2. Come to God, then God will give His presence and the presence of the Lord will give joy and peace to you.

At the time we stay in the presence of God, God’s peace will remain and give us a break to have a new power every day so that through him we will always come forth as winners in all circumstances.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Accept and come to God, you will experience the perfect break.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

God wants us to always stay in His presence so that we have the perfect break that which give us victory.

LOVE LETTER

29 Mar

LOVE LETTER

Today’s Word: Psalm 119:159-168

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 5:1-16

Night: Judges 7-8

Today’s Inspiration

When reading a letter or an e-mail from someone we love and long for, we will read it carefully, we can smile, laugh, and even moved while reading it. However, it is very different when we read a letter from someone we do not know, we tend to ignore it or even disregarded much less open it.

Similarly is when we read the word of God. If we just read to show that we are devout Christians or by chance we are an activist, the workers expected to read the Bible then of course we will get nothing from what we read. What we read is a row of words that have no meaning much less power.

But when we read God’s love letter with the longing for fellowship with God, listening to His Word, meditate it in your heart and do it in our actions, then the Word of God recorded in the Bible will have power once it is spoken. It will provide comfort when we are in oppressed, give directions when we do not know where we should go, give strength when we are weak, provide a way out when there is no way, give help when we cry, and reveals what God will do in the future so that we can take preparation steps. He will give us the ability to differentiate and wisdom to change a crisis into opportunity.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” (Psalm 119:165)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Have a longing heart to always read the God’s love letter.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

The Bible is only in the form of words if we simply read it without the Holy Spirit, but the Bible contains the living Word, which gives the way, the truth and the life if we are close to the Holy Spirit.

INPUT AND OUTPUT

28 Mar

INPUT AND OUTPUT

Today’s Word: Proverbs 4:20-24

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 4:31-44

Night: Judges 4-6

Today’s Inspiration

In a man him self can receive input from a variety of sources which can be derived from the eyes, mind and heart, but that man only has one output channel, it is the mouth. Therefore, sometimes people who are panic in their mind, their soul become frantic; their hearts are worry and out of control, talking without direction, rude, cursing. If a man’s heart is full of deceit and greedy, then what inside the heart can come out through the mouth with sweet words but full of deceptions and lies that aim to harm others and take advantage for own self.

Truthfully, God is the Word and the Word is God’s Word Himself, when man was created in the likeness and image of God, since then the Spirit of God within man worked completely, and when the man speaks, each of his word contains the power and authority of God. However, that power was taken by the power of the devil, and then by its tricks, the devil changed human words become evil words, lying to grieve the heart of God.

But for those who believe, the real blood of Jesus has redeemed us, so that we are restored and justified so the power of the word is restored. Therefore, let us guard our words. God has given the gift of the mind of Christ so that our heart become holy and our soul are calm so any input that goes through your mind, heart and soul can be filtered in order to deliver words that praise God and give Him the glory.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do f lows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Keep your heart because that is where we come from, the source of life.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Your words reflect your heart.

THE LOST CHILD

27 Mar

THE LOST CHILD

Today’s Word: Luke 15:11-31

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 4:1-30

Night: Judges 1-3

Today’s Inspiration

There are two interesting things about the Story of the lost son in Luke 15:11-31.

1. The role of a father. In the story, when the lost boy asked his inheritance, his father did not question it, and soon the child received what he wanted. This illustrates that his father was very rich, so what was asked by his son did not make the father poor. Besides, the father’s heart is loving and generous. That is the picture of our Father in heaven who is very rich, generous, and loving.

2. The role of a child. The lost child was tempted by the beauty of situations outside his father’s house. He was tempted to live independently and regardless of any regulation at his father’s house. This lost child knew that his father was full of love and he used this to ask what was belonged to him. Furthermore, the child was living with sinful and spent all of his inheritance.

Sometimes, in life, we act like a lost child. We ask for something that is not the time to claim it, that our God is loving and generous. When our heart is not ready, the abundant blessings of God can bring in sin. Our Father in heaven is the God who knows our needs even to those that have not spoken though. But if we ask for in advance, let us abide in Him and He is in us, so that we know what we are asking for is in accordance with His plan and the name of the Lord be glorified.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Abide in God then we will know if our needs or desires we want are from God.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Stay in the Father is the first step for you to receive all of your needs.

ENVY

26 Mar

ENVY

Today’s Word: James 3:14-18

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 3

Night: Joshua 22-24

Today’s Inspiration

Envy is a state of restless heart, because of something we hope does not happen as what to expect. Circumstances that resulted in us begin to shift the focus of faith and look to others who are more successful. At that time, our faith becomes an empty, dry and with lightning speed demon started to go to pass the sin of envy. Man who was shackled to the sin of envy can act desperate and do anything to vent their jealousy. And if it is not fulfilled, jealousy can cause hurt and hate is prolonged.

A life in the indictment is the devil can make human life shackled by it, a loss of peace and joy. In circumstances such as these can make a shackled human behavior becomes so extreme and aggressive. Humans are influenced by the sin of envy will try their utmost to keep the eye on falling and suffering, she smiles at people he hated falling and suffering. While the other extreme and change can make a humble man, always suspicious, self pity, anti-social, self cursing, blame and blaspheme God made man as a human even atheists who forget and leave.

By the time you’re having problems, do not be complacent by letting the devil take the opportunity to spread the sin of envy, you better focus on the Lord, for He is able to help and transform your problem into an opportunity to glorify you.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you f ind disorder and every evil practice.” (James 3:16)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Always give thanks in all circumstances, so you can get rid of jealousy in your life.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Jealousy is not from God; jealousy is destructive product of the devil that comes in uninvited.

WELLBORE

25 Mar

WELLBORE

Today’s Word: Jeremiah 38:1-13

Today’s Bible Reading:

Morning: Luke 2:25-52

Night: Joshua 19-21

Today’s Inspiration

Imagine a deep, narrow wellbore, and because of something you fall in it. I am sure, you will not be able to do anything even if you are strong, intelligent, have lots of money and have many connections. At that time you can only scream as strong as possible for help. Your situation at that time depends on the presence or absence people of the above, and if your scream is loud enough to attract attention from people above the well.

The prophet Jeremiah had experienced it. Jeremiah was thrown into the well so that he slowly died, but at the critical moment, Jeremiah knew that the only source of his help comes from the Lord, for he cried out, “I called on your name, LORD, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea: ‘Do not close your ears to my cry for relief,’” (Lamentations 3:55-56).

In this life, we must have experienced problems that make us cornered, trapped and could not do anything, like go into a deep and narrow pit hole. There is no life experience that can be used to help, no connection can save, perhaps nobody else care about and pay attention to you. Do not despair! Remember the Lord, for our help comes only from God. He promised when we called out God’s name, we will be saved. No case is too difficult for God; even there is no case that is not possible for God. You just call Him and cries out to the Lord and trust completely without hesitate.

TODAY’S VERSE TO REMEMBER:

“You came near when I called you, and you said, ‘Do not fear.’” (Lamentations 3:57)

TODAY’S ACTION:

Use it to your heart and mouth to call out His name, then God will save us by His miraculous way.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

Nothing is impossible to God.
